About the Artist

I am a multidisciplinary artist, author, songwriter and teacher driven by curiosity and experimentation. I do 2d, 3d, relief work, and sculptures and am working into installation pieces. Movement, shadows, depth and layers play an important role in many of my pieces. I enjoy adding interactive components that encourages the viewer or audience to interact with the piece in some fashion when possible or to observe the piece interacting in different lighting throughout the day. This idea of art that awakens several senses or has some sort of functionality is rewarding and continually challenges me. I am a lifelong learner and in turn, teach classes to pass along whatever I can. I deeply enjoy alone time, but find I get more done by sharing, collaborating, and supporting others.
